Traveling in Europe is now possible in many of its states and, fortunately, Portugal is on the list of countries that allow entry to tourism. After a first opening in July 2020 and a subsequent closure of long months, our neighboring country has reopened to travelers who want to visit, provided that a number of requirements are met. Below we are going to show you what these requirements are, both for mainland Portugal and for the islands of Azores and Madeira.

The government has launched the “Clean & Safe” seal, which certifies that the business that receives it adheres to the measures stipulated by the authorities and receives periodic audits to verify compliance. You will find this safety seal in restaurants, hotels, museums and other related businesses.

Breakfast. Visit the impressive monumental complex of the Alhambra (passport required to enter the Alhambra) with its beautiful Nasrid Palaces and the Generalife (entrance fees subject to availability). At the indicated time travel to Costa del Sol. Arrival and free time.    Overnight stay.

Breakfast and departure to Rabat. Walking tour of the city to visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Oudaya with a breathtaking view over the river Bouregreg. Continuation to the legendary and cosmopolitan city of Casablanca. Panoramic tour; we highlight the Mohamed V square, the Anfa district, the Boulevard de La Corniche and finally the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and visit of the city to stroll through its narrow streets of the ninth century. The old walled Medina is one of the largest in the world, considered a World Heritage Site, with exotic corners, arches, mosques, medersas, fountains and craft stores. In the afternoon we will continue discovering this city full of charm. Dinner at leisure and overnight.

Travels of Spain and Portugal in the 15th century

Day 2 (Saturday) MADRID – CÁCERES-SEVILLA (588 km.) – Breakfast. Departure to Extremadura to reach Cáceres with free time to visit the old town and its medieval quarter, considered a World Heritage Site. Free time for lunch. Afterwards, departure by the Autovía de la Plata (Silver Highway) towards Andalusia to reach Seville. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 (Monday) SEVILLE – CORDOBA (145 km.) – Breakfast. Departure to the city of Cordoba. We will start our visit on foot from the Puerta de Almodovar to reach the Jewish quarter and continue with the visit inside the famous Mosque / Cathedral. Rest of the time at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

5th day (Tuesday) CÓRDOBA – RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL(322 km.) – Breakfast. Departure by the Route of the White Villages to Ronda. Free time in this beautiful Andalusian town and continuation to the Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 6 (Wednesday) COSTA DEL SOL- GRANADA (180 km.) – Breakfast. Departure along the coast to Granada. Arrival and visit the spectacular monumental complex of the Alhambra and the Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent gardens, fountains and arcades, World Heritage Site. Dinner and overnight. In the evening optional visit to the Sacromonte caves with a flamenco zambra show.
