Enjoy the lively atmosphere of La Rambla (or Las Ramblas), a lively pedestrian boulevard. Visit La Boqueria Market and get lost in the maze of food stalls. Then relax on the white sandy beaches of Barceloneta and congratulate yourself on a great start to your trip.

Try a traditional Valencian paella dish – still hungry? Try the food at the Mercado Central, one of the oldest markets in Europe. Valencia Cathedral is just a few minutes away. You can climb the tower to enjoy the beautiful view over the city. To end the day sit and watch the people go by in the Jardines del Turia.

Touring spain in 10 days from madrid

This is a guide for lovers of motorized tourism, the slow tourism, the one that sometimes improvises, that travels through urban and rural areas, natural parks and cities and towns. I will now explain how I have structured it.

If you want to focus on visiting Galicia, in this article I break down the community where I live and if you are planning to do the Camino, in this article I tell everything NOT to see in Santiago de Compostela in 1 day to miss the city.

This route through the Aragonese Pyrenees goes from the valley of Gistaín to the valley of Hecho, passing through the area of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido. It is one of the slowdriving routes proposed by Turismo de Aragón.

Estimated time for the complete route: about 15 days (20 if you want to do several trekking or skiing, depending on the season). If you want to do only the Ordesa Park and surroundings, 5-6 days may be enough (including some easy trekking routes).
