And as selecting implies choosing some and leaving out other possibilities, this list is open to suggestions that can be made. We have traced 17 routes to offer a route by car for each Autonomous Community so that it is easier to expand these proposals.

Driving through the Alpujarra of Granada, we can stop at the main enclaves of the southern face of the Sierra Nevada to contemplate the contrast between the heights of the Sierra and the beautiful landscapes that lead us towards the coast.

Thus, Trevélez, Capileira and Lanjarón, without forgetting to stop and rest contemplating the surroundings of Bubión, are the points that we mark on the map to travel, curve by curve, the die that is Sierra Nevada a few kilometers from the sea.

Following parallel to the Guadalope river, we will pass by Mas de las Matas and we will continue bordering the layers sedimented throughout the centuries while we pass by Las Parras de Castellote and Jaganta, until we arrive at the Santolea Reservoir.

We will finish this route heading towards Alcorisa through the Atalaya Ravine, and on the way we will stop at the Crystal Caves near Molinos, to admire this unique subway landscape of Lower Aragon, and at the Gallipuén Reservoir.

Fly into Malaga’s Pablo Picasso airport (the artist’s birthplace). This is the best option, especially since you are only a few miles from the city center. It’s also an ideal place for day trips.

As you walk through the city, you’ll see beige and green marble alongside streets juxtaposed with well-lit buildings and intricate balconies. You can’t miss the towering heights of the Malaga Cathedral. There are street performers and artists lining the walkways showing off their art.

It is recommended to take a stroll through the Picasso Museum which exhibits 230 works by artists from the late 19th century until his death in 1973. As you wander around, you’ll see the Alcazaba Roman Theater. In fact, it was born here and has even participated in the annual Easter celebration.

First built in 889, the Alhambra is a place where royalty flourished under Moorish influence and later, after the Reconquest, became the royal court of the Catholic Kings Isabella and Ferdinand.

You know, if you are lovers of charming villages, you are looking for a rural plan, relaxed, without noise and good food … here you have a lot of ideas with detailed itineraries to the millimeter with their planning, accommodation, what to do, etc …

In the case of the excursion to Toledo, we would only spend an extra night in Madrid. I have put it organized because I think you will make much better use of the time. And the same with the day trip to the white villages, where in this case we would do an extra night in Seville and we would be taken to the most beautiful villages.
