The Galician Coast, the Green Coast, the Cantabrian Coast and the Basque Coast are a paradise of greenery, nature, cliffs and lots of life. But we will also find a multitude of charming villages and cities full of cultural heritage.

And what can we say about the Basque Country! One of those areas that you could visit forever. A walk along the Playa de la Concha, admire the Peine de los Vientos, discover medieval villages like the beautiful Hondarribia or make the most of the culture with the Guggenheim Museum are some of the millions of options we have on trips to the Basque Country.

On the first day, the guides and the client will meet at the company’s terminal, at Calle San Bernardo 7, and, from there, we will start the trip to the first stop, using the bus provided for this purpose. This means that if you are coming from another city, you will have to organize your arrival to this meeting point, although our guides and assistants will be happy to help you to make it easy for you.

After breakfast in San Sebastian, we will depart for Bilbao, where we will visit the city, with special emphasis on the Guggenheim Museum, but also on its other points of interest. After this visit, we will move on to Santillana del Mar, a town that is considered a National Monument. There we will make a stop to enjoy it, and then we will continue to Santander, where we will stay.

After breakfast at the hotel in Santander, we will leave in the direction of the Picos de Europa, enjoying one of the most beautiful landscapes, so do not forget your camera. After this trip, we will arrive at Covadonga, where we will be able to visit the Sanctuary, which commemorates the death of the hero who started the Reconquest. After this visit, we will continue to Oviedo, where we will stay until the next day.

Northern Spain 15 days

In the afternoon a great plan would be to do this tour of Bilbao + Artxanda funicular from where you will have one of the best views of the city. To sleep, I have chosen for you the Casual Gorea hotel, in the heart of the city and more than 2700 reviews of outstanding.

The accommodation I recommend in Llanes is the hotel San Jorge, where we will spend 2 nights, the 6th and the 7th. The hotel is quite well located, there is free parking and it is in a beautiful environment.

Once in Cangas de Onis, we will check-in at the hotel Los Lagos Nature, where we will spend two nights, we will face its beautiful Roman bridge and we will head to the hermitage of Covagonda (0h 11min) and its lakes. Don’t forget its lakes!

What I like most about the Asturian capital is the joy and tranquility that permeates its streets. Strolling through the historic center of the city you will discover its cathedral, the Plaza de Fontán, the Church of San Julián de los Prados and the Foncalada Fountain, I also recommend a visit to the Archaeological Museum of the city, where you can discover more about the history of Asturias.

The Sardinero area is the best known of Santander, where you can enjoy its beach or the Piquió gardens, from the promenade you will also discover elegant hotels, mansions like the Casa de Pardo, the Quinta de los Pinares and the Palacio de la Magdalena.

One of the most impressive places, and known after filming part of Game of Thrones here, is the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, on the coast of Biscay. In the Urdaibai Reserve you will also find the Oma Forest. I also recommend a visit to the Gorbea Natural Park, which is home to the Gorbeia Mountain with almost 1500 meters high and the Gujuli waterfall. There are two charming villages in the Basque Country that should not be missing in your visit: Hondarribia and Zumaia.
