Apart from the Mosque-Cathedral you don’t know what else to see in Cordoba in 3 days? Because maybe you had the idea that in Cordoba, just by seeing the most famous monument, you have seen it all… Not at all!  We have returned several times to this Andalusian city that we fell in love from the first moment we set foot in it. And if it is also your “first time”, we have organized a route to get to know Cordoba in three days, with everything you can not miss.

Another option is the Cuevas del Pino, in the countryside on the outskirts of Cordoba. An accommodation with cottages and a cave located just 15 minutes from downtown, also with swimming pool (perfect for summer) and very close to the archaeological site of Medina Azahara. It is a paradise.

First day to see Cordoba in 3 days. If you come by car you can park on the other side of the river, on the streets near the Calahorra Tower, and from there walk across to make the triumphal entry, which is beautiful and overlooks the Mosque.

The viewpoint of the Calahorra Tower can be climbed for 4.50 euros to have a good view of the city, but keep in mind that from the Puerta del Puente, just across the Roman Bridge, has almost the same views and is worth only 1 euro.

During your trip, you cannot miss a visit to the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba. Or monuments as important as the Synagogue or the Roman Bridge of Cordoba. Take the opportunity to stroll through the streets of the Jewish Quarter and the mythical Calleja de las Flores. Marvel at the imposing Roman Bridge and admire the beautiful Almodovar Gate. And do not leave the city without tasting such traditional dishes of the local gastronomy as salmorejo, stewed oxtail, flamenquines or pastel cordobés.

Do not miss the opportunity to observe its imposing exterior architecture. Dare to enter to marvel at the beauty of rooms such as the Foundational Mosque of Abderraman I and its extensions (impressive overlapping arches), the Parish of the Sagrario (unmissable painted murals), the Main Chapel or the Patio de los Naranjos, where you can relax at the end of the visit.

After enjoying the Mosque-Cathedral, the Alcazar, the Jewish quarter, you will surely have had time to enter the Palacio de Viana with its majestic courtyards. Admire the Calahorra Tower and cross the Roman bridge… You may think that there is nothing left to see in Cordoba, but you are wrong.

You are wondering what to see in Cordoba in 1 day, because you have very little time and you want to make the most of your visit. But besides the Mosque, you have no idea what else you will find in this beautiful city. Well, don’t worry, we will prepare in a moment the route through this Andalusian city, not very big, but with a lot to see and do. So if you like, let’s get started, we are already wasting time.

Part of these things to see in Cordoba in one day were given to us by Amalia, a Cordovan woman who runs the Cuevas del Pino, where we spent a few days. An accommodation that has several cottages (one of them a cave) with swimming pool and in the countryside, located 15 minutes from Cordoba and next to the archaeological site of Medina Azahara.

If you go by car, you can park on the other side of the river in the streets near the Torre de Calahorra, and from there walk across the Roman Bridge to make the triumphal entry. A beautiful walk that will take you to the Mosque of Cordoba.

The viewpoint of the Calahorra Tower, Museum of al-Andalus, can be climbed for 4.50 euros to have a good view of the city, but a fact to keep in mind is that from the Puerta del Puente, just across the Roman Bridge, you have almost the same views and access is only 1 euro.
