We will start this interesting trip in Sydney, where the famous Opera House and the bridge, among other attractions, will be waiting for us. We will continue to the beautiful Blue Mountains, declared a World Heritage Site and then we will enter the red desert and see the sunset with the Uluru monolith. We will continue north to Cairns, where we will cruise the Great Barrier Reef, the largest tropical marine park in the world. Our journey through Australia will conclude in Melbourne, one of the country’s most cosmopolitan cities, from where we will access the scenic Great Ocean Road.

We will cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge towards the Blue Mountains. We will pass through the charming villages of Blaxland, Leura, Wentworth and Lawson. Following the Cliff Drive we will admire the panoramic view of Megalong Valley.

In the capital of the Blue Mountains, Katoomba, we will stop for about 2 hours at Scenic World. Here we include the world’s steepest Railway to the valley and time to walk 15 to 20′ on a trail under the canopy of ferns. Then ascent to the Skyway or Cableway 270 m above the Jamieson Valley with panoramic views. Lunch with a view of the Three Sisters rock formation. Stop at Echo Point to take pictures of the rock. Visit the Waradah Aborginal Centre to witness an Aboriginal cultural show of dances and songs using the didgeridoo instrument. Free time (30′) in the village of Leura with its small streets with craft stalls. In the afternoon, visit Featherdale Wildlife Park, a native animal reserve where you can see koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, emus and a variety of other native species. In Parramatta, we will board the River Cat ferry to return to Sydney via the Parramatta River, disembarking at Circular Quay or Darling Harbour, in the heart of downtown. A drink on board is included. From here the return to the hotel is on your own.
