The response to your request will be sent by e-mail to the address you have indicated in the form. The response time varies from a few minutes to a few hours, with a maximum of 72 hours.
Therefore, it may be tempting to apply for an eVisitor shortly before your trip. However, we advise you to submit your application a little earlier to avoid a possible denial or a problem delaying your procedure. Also check that your passport is valid at the time of application and at the time of travel.
Several types of problems can be responsible for not receiving your eVisa or at least a positive or negative response to an online application. The first relates to the e-mail address provided when filling out the online form. If you have the wrong address or made a mistake when entering your e-mail address, you may not have received your visa which, we remind you, is only sent to you electronically. In other cases, your mail server may not recognize the response from the Australian authorities as an official document and may have mistakenly placed it in your spam or junk mail folder. Check both folders. If the email does not appear, feel free to check the status of your application online.
