Citizens of European Union countries, plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, can travel to the United Kingdom without a visa, for short stays (up to 180 days). Check the expiration and issue date of your passport before traveling. If you have a UK passport and are traveling to the EU (except Ireland), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City or Switzerland, your passport must meet the following criteria:
