How many euros do I need to travel to italy

You started your Au Pair experience and every now and then you have a free weekend? Of course, the first thing that comes to your mind is to travel and explore the country where you live or maybe visit your friends and family back home. But is it possible to travel on a budget as an Au Pair? Without a doubt, yes.

It has happened to all of us, walking around a city center, browsing and occasionally buying some overpriced mugs or magnets with the city’s logo on them. If you really need these things, then go to the supermarket or any place that is NOT a souvenir store and buy it there. But we recommend that you bring something nice like local food or wine, you can usually find very affordable options in supermarkets and your friends or family would surely like to taste something from the country you’ve been to while listening to your stories about your amazing travel experience.

Depending on their budget and your preferences, you may want to find affordable, cheap or free accommodation. For the first option check Airbnb or Booking. For the second, Hostelworld or Hostelbookers. You can also check out Hotelscombined or Expedia, which compare different hotels, hostel rooms and apartments and you can use filters to find the one that fits your plans. If you don’t want to pay for a bed, try to find a host on Couchsurfing, in big cities it usually works very well.

How much does it cost to travel from spain to italy

Hotels in Venice are extremely expensive. Also I understand that many of them need a good renovation inside. Also the vacation rental apartments are way over what I would call low budget. However, it is possible to find some interesting deals as long as you travel in low season and outside of long weekends. For example, if you travel in November, I found this one for 45€ per night for a double room on a room only basis, which is very well located. The decor is not very modern and it has no luxuries but it looks neat and has good reviews. This other one for 50 € per night for a double room (without breakfast) also looks very good. It has a good location too.

These prices are not very common on the island, but they are possible if you look at it with time and in low season months. Normally a very normal hotel can be around 100€ for a double room without breakfast.

If you are traveling alone, the cheapest option is to stay in a hostel. I found this one from the Generator chain which looks excellent. There are beds in shared dormitories from 26€. In terms of quality-price low-cost version, it is one of the best you can find on the island.

Hi Allan! As you can see in the application next to the host’s picture it says approximately how long it takes for the host to respond. New hosts usually take a little longer to respond because they are not familiar with the platform. However, just be patient and wait.

Hi Rodo, usually the yellow fever one is the most requested. However, do not forget to go to the embassy of each country to read the regulations in force for the entry of the country. Greetings!

Hi Juli, usually yes. If you go to the pages of the consulates, there it says the minimum. However, of all the countries I went to (6) when I went through the customs controls, they never made me prove that I had the funds.

Hello Jose Carlos. Volunteers are coordinated by prepia. You should find out the necessary paperwork to apply for a visa if that is what you want. All the travelers I know (myself included) travel with passports with tourist visas. I advise you to go to the embassy of the countries you are interested in to look for information.
