Venice is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Italy. The fame and charm of Venice and its canals reaches all corners of the world which makes it receive thousands of tourists a day. How much time to spend in Venice? We recommend a minimum stay of 2 days, being 3 days the ideal stay for most travelers. Let’s take a look at all the options and their pros and cons.

How many days to spend in VeniceAmong the most common options for a stay in Venice we highlight 1, 2, 3 and 4 days. More than 4 days in Venice we consider it too much unless you combine it with visits to other nearby destinations such as Verona or even Slovenia.1 day in VeniceTWHILE possible, it is not a recommended stay, it will seem too little and you will probably be left wanting more and with the feeling that you have not been able to enjoy the city in its splendor. How much is spent in Venice

Today we bring you one of the most awaited posts, my budget for traveling to Venice in 5 days. As I had been told, Venice is quite expensive, although if you know how to look or how to move around you can save a little bit on your budget.

To get from Treviso airport to Venice you have to take the bus that drops you off at Piazzale Roma. If your trip does not last more than 7 days, you can take a round trip ticket to save a little money.

To move from one place to another in Venice you use the vaporetto. The single trip is not cheap at all 7,50€, but you can take advantage of the 24 hour ticket for 20€ and do all the visits that involve using the vaporetto.

On this trip I took my European health insurance with me, but if you need travel insurance we recommend the one we use on our trips. From our link you can take advantage of a 5% discount on Mondo travel insurance here.
