To travel around Italy we recommend using the train, it is the best option. The stations are located in the center of the cities, besides being a comfortable and inexpensive transport. If there is one celebration that stands out above all others in February, it is Carnival. Although these pre-Lenten celebrations are held in many cities, Venice is undoubtedly the most famous.
