Canceled events and new travel requirements

On April 18, 2013, Greece introduced Law 4146/2013 giving non-EU citizens and their family members the right to obtain Residence Permits through Real Estate investment in Greece. The grant for this type of residence permits has been integrated to the existing Law 3386/2005 “Entry Residence and Social Integration to Third Country Nationals in Greece.”

Greece, with its strategic location in Southeast Europe is at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Greece is a member of the EU, the Eurozone, and the Schengen Agreement. Globally, Greece is also a member of the United Nations, the OECD and NATO.

To be eligible for residency in Greece under this investment residency program, the applicant must make a Real Estate investment anywhere in Greece to obtain the Golden Visa.

The Client must travel to Greece to obtain the passport stamped prior to submitting the Residency application. If the Client does not have a Schengen Visa, then the Client must apply for a Greek Tourist Visa at the Greek Consulate in the Client’s country of origin/residence.
