Breakfast and one day city tour of Istanbul. Visits to the outstanding monuments of the Ottoman and Byzantine empires, the Roman Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia (closed on Mondays), the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Suleymaniye Mosque and the Grand Bazaar with over 4000 stores. Lunch at local restaurant included and return to the hotel at sunset.
Breakfast and early departure to Konya, capital of the Seljuk Sultans. Visit the Caravansarai of Sultanhan and the mausoleum of Mevlana, poet and philosopher who founded the mystical and religious sect of the Dancing Dervishes. Lunch in the city and continuation to Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale. Full board.
Breakfast and transfer to the port of Ephesus to embark on the 3-night cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey. In the afternoon arrival to the island of Patmos, where we can take one of the optional excursions and visit the Monastery and the Grotto of St. John, the place where the Apostle lived and wrote the book of Revelation. Dinner and overnight on board.
