In addition to the health restrictions, Argentine citizens going to France for TOURIST purposes – stay of less than 90 days – must be able to present to the immigration authorities at the European airport of first entry the following requirements:
– proof of medical insurance : individual or collective coverage, for a minimum amount of 30.000 € for repatriation and hospitalization, during the whole stay and valid for the whole Schengen area;
Requirements and health pass for travel to France in 2022
All passengers traveling to France for a maximum period of up to 90 days, must comply with the following requirements at the moment of entering French territory:
(b) Hotel reservation and/or letter of invitation recognized by the corresponding French municipality. In this regard, the letter must have been sent to the traveler prior to embarkation, to be presented in original upon arrival in France.
c) Proof of monetary availability (traveler’s checks, credit cards, cash) to finance your stay, equivalent to 62 euros per day, if you have confirmed hotel reservations or 31 euros per day, for those who have a formal letter of invitation.

All foreign nationals wishing to travel to France must be able to present at the border the regulatory supporting documents relating to the purpose of the stay, means of subsistence and accommodation conditions.

Family members of a citizen of EU Member States, EEA or Switzerland who wish to apply for a “family member of a citizen of the Union” residence card must contact the competent French prefecture to submit the residence card application within three months of their entry into French territory.

On March 14, 2022, the presentation of the vaccination passport in those places where it was required (leisure and cultural centers, commercial catering, trade fairs and professional shows, etc.) ceased to be mandatory. Similarly, the health passport ceased to be in force on August 1, 2022.
Since the beginning of the crisis, the health control system has made it possible to preserve our health system and to delay the arrival on French territory of variants with worrying characteristics. This system ceased to be in force on August 1, 2022.
However, in the event of the emergence of a dangerous variant, the entry into French territory of travelers from countries considered to be at risk could again be subject to the presentation of a negative virological test.
