WHAT IS IT LIKE TO TRAVEL DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC?
Air France and KLM offer a map showing the current travel requirements for all countries that make up the airline network of both airlines. The tool displays information based on the country of origin of the customer’s flight and their vaccination status.
Customers can consult the Air France and KLM maps and fill in the airport or country and origin. Passengers can then browse the interactive map to see the most up-to-date travel requirements for each airline’s destinations.Customers who are vaccinated can click on the “I am fully vaccinated” button and check the travel rules that apply to their status. Once the destination is selected, they are directed to TravelDoc, where they can view, in detail, the requirements for their chosen destination.
Requirements for travel to France in 2022 and health passport
Those passengers who exceptionally and exceptionally and due to severe lung disease with a forced vital capacity (FVC) threshold of 55% predicted and a DLCO threshold of 40% or with a GAP index higher than 5 or mental or physical disabilities that do not allow the proper use of a face mask, must send an email, before 48 hours prior to the departure of the flight, attaching this medical certificate attesting it and issued no later than 2 months before the date of the flight to requerimientomedico@air-europa.com. In order to be able to travel, it will be essential to have completed this procedure and to present a negative certificate of a PCR test performed within 48 hours prior to flight departure, in addition to the health tests and documentation required by the local authorities at the destination, at any Air Europa counter at the airport.
Requirements and health pass for travel to France in 2022
Santiago, February 8, 2021 – Air France KLM Group maintains its operations between Chile, Europe and the rest of the world, despite stricter entry conditions imposed by several European governments. Air France and KLM operations in Chile during February are as follows*:
– KLM: 1 flight per week (passengers and cargo). The Amsterdam – Santiago flight carries passengers on Saturdays. The Santiago – Amsterdam flight will not carry passengers up to and including February 21 (subject to change), due to new entry restrictions to the Netherlands. KLM maintains the operation of its 3 weekly cargo flights.

Currently, France requires passengers to present an urgent need travel certificate, a health certificate and a PCR-RT or LAMP test performed within 72 hours prior to flight departure for those with the country as their final destination. Quarantine is also required upon arrival in the country. More information is available on the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Currently, only nationals and residents of France or member countries of the European Union may enter France.
