The UK eTA Canada visa is not optional, but a mandatory requirement for all British citizens traveling to the country for short stays. Before traveling to Canada, the traveler must ensure that the validity of the passport is at least three months after the intended departure date.
An online application form can be completed in as little as five (5) minutes. Applicants are required to enter information on their passport page, personal details, their contact details such as email and address, and employment details. The applicant must be in good health and have no criminal record.
Once the fees have been paid, processing of the eTA application begins. Canada eTA is sent by email. Canada Visa for British citizens will be sent by email, after they have completed the online application form with the necessary information and once the online credit card payment has been verified. In very rare circumstances, if additional documentation is required, the applicant will be contacted prior to approval of the Canada eTA.

The suitability of the candidates’ profiles for each geographical area will be adjusted to the preferential merits listed in Annex II, an aspect that must be taken into account by the applicant when applying and selecting the destination.
The selected candidates must assume the costs of travel and transfer to the educational center of destination, as well as any other expenses derived from obtaining the visa, work permit, or any other documentation required by the authorities of the receiving country. Likewise, the selected candidates will be responsible for the costs of lodging and meals during their participation in the program.
The participating educational authorities will offer the selected teachers, prior to their incorporation to the position, a contract under terms to be agreed upon by both parties with regard to working conditions and its date and form, in accordance with the labor legislation of the contracting countries and educational authorities.

Please note that due to the improved epidemiological situation, these requirements were relaxed on April 1. On this day, the requirement to get tested for the virus before travelling to Canada was removed if you are vaccinated against coronavirus.
Unfortunately, we can already speak of a 7th wave of coronavirus in Canada due to new subvariants. Even so, it does not seem that local governments are going to implement any measures other than trying to keep the population vaccinated.
On the other hand, as of June 20, it is no longer necessary to show a vaccination certificate to move within the country. The use of face masks is still mandatory in trains and airplanes. The need to be vaccinated to travel to Canada may soon be eliminated, but, for now, this remains the case.
