Beginning February 28, 2022, the Canadian government will randomly screen arriving persons with full immunization schedules, including temporary foreign workers.
As of February 28, 2022, international flights, including those carrying temporary foreign workers, may land at all Canadian airports authorized to receive passenger flights.
With some exceptions, only vaccinated foreign nationals are allowed to enter. Persons allowed entry without proof of a full vaccination schedule, including foreign workers, must be screened upon arrival, tested again on day 8 of arrival, and quarantined for 14 days. Temporary foreign agricultural and food processing workers will be allowed to enter Canada regardless of their vaccination status.

Mexico’s eTA Canada visa is not optional, but a mandatory requirement for all Mexican citizens traveling to the country for short stays. Before traveling to Canada, the traveler must ensure that the validity of the passport is at least three months after the intended departure date.
An online application form can be completed in as little as five (5) minutes. Applicants are required to enter information on their passport page, personal details, their contact details such as email and address, and employment details. The applicant must be in good health and have no criminal record.
Once the fees have been paid, processing of the eTA application begins. Canada eTA is sent by email. The Canada visa for Mexican citizens will be sent by email, after they have completed the online application form with the required information and once the online credit card payment has been verified. In very rare circumstances, if additional documentation is required, the applicant will be contacted prior to approval of the Canadian eTA.
