The big question you will ask yourself when organizing a trip to Singapore. As always, it will depend on the days you have available, but we believe that two days is the minimum you need to enjoy this city-state.

A basic in every trip, and one of the essential tips for traveling to Singapore. We tell you from experience, we have used it a lot of times, and the tranquility that gives you not having to look for your life if something happens, that the doctor comes to your hotel or tell you the nearest clinic and even that you don’t have to worry about the medicines, as my grandmother used to say (who understood a lot about remember phrases) “is not paid with money”.

And as there are a lot of them, if you do not know which one to choose, we leave you the one we use, which from experience we know works great: its name is IATI. In addition, they give you a 5% discount for taking out international travel insurance.

One of the best options to have internet in Singapore. You receive the card at home before leaving on your trip, and once at your destination you will have unlimited 4G data just by inserting the SIM card in your mobile and activating data roaming.  It connects quickly.

“Good service””It was a very pleasant experience, as the paperwork was done in a very quick manner, plus, not a lot of paperwork was required. The free time was used to expedite the process which helped a lot, as did filling out the form ahead of time. Excellent service.”

Singapore entry requirements

Planning a trip to Singapore is great, it offers many interesting places to see and exciting things to do. However, before you start, it is important to know some particularities of the country as well as the necessary documentation to enter. Here are the most important things to consider before traveling to Singapore.

Before traveling to any country it is important to visit the competent official website of the country in question, since the necessary documentation may change. Here is the website of the Singapore Immigration and Tourism Authority:

Before arriving in Singapore, during your flight, the flight attendants will give you a form that you will have to fill in and hand in at customs. Take advantage of some time during your flight to fill it out and save time when crossing the border. At the counter before immigration there are additional forms, in case you make a mistake or have lost it.

When we travel to a new city, the question always comes to our mind… How to get around. Well, this is not a problem at all in Singapore. The city has an excellent transport system, good connections and super easy to use. You can learn more in our section: transportation in Singapore.

There has been speculation for weeks that Pelosi, who ranks second in the U.S. presidential line of succession behind the vice president, may be planning to visit the self-governing democratic island.

China’s Communist Party, which claims Taiwan as part of its territory even though it has never controlled it, has repeatedly warned Pelosi against visiting the island and vowed to take “firm and forceful action” if the trip goes ahead.

Some U.S. officials are concerned that the potential visit will be met with a military response from China, which could trigger the worst crisis between that country and the United States in decades.

During a phone call between U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping last Thursday, Xi warned Washington not to “play with fire” on the Taiwan issue, although neither side confirmed whether Pelosi’s plans were discussed. Preparations for the call preceded reports of the possible trip.
