The applicant must enter personal information, in Latin characters, as it appears in his/her foreign passport.  The information provided by the applicant must be correct and true; otherwise, the electronic authorization will be denied and the applicant will not be able to enter Mexico.

a) Authorized application: A confirmation is issued with which the person may travel to Mexico. Once authorized, the electronic visa must be printed and all data must be verified to be correct. The application is valid for 30 days to travel and enter the country.

The printout of the authorized application must be presented together with the valid foreign passport and the airline ticket at the airline counter when checking in for the flight. The airline will verify the information and, if it is correct, boarding will be allowed.

Upon arrival at the point of entry into Mexico, you must show the valid foreign passport, the electronic authorization and the immigration form duly completed, which can be obtained from the airline or at the point of entry into the country.

Citizens of other nationalities who have a valid visa for at least six months for the United States of America, permanent residents of the United States of America, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom or Schengen area (e.g. Germany) will not require a visa.

Citizens from Turkey, Russia and Ukraine need an electronic authorization (SAE Genehmigung) and not a visa, as long as they enter Mexico by air.
