Valid vaccinations to enter Spain
When traveling, taking out travel insurance guarantees a series of coverage which, depending on the type of policy, may include medical assistance and hospitalization for illness and accident, repatriation or reimbursement for cancellation or loss of luggage, among others.
Some people may think that insurance is not a compulsory procedure when organizing a trip. However, this is not the case. There are countries that require travel insurance with medical assistance and repatriation coverage in order to be able to enter their territory. In addition, each state or group of states imposes a series of conditions on these policies.
In general, the Chilean authorities recommend taking out travel insurance that also covers the corresponding medical assistance and eventual repatriation. In case of risky sports, it is recommended that the sports insurance coverage be as broad as possible and include the practice of such sports.
In order to process the visa to travel to Iran, it is necessary to provide a travel insurance whose certificate clearly states the name of the holder and the validity of the policy, which must coincide with the period of validity of the visa. As recommended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we recommend you to purchase a travel insurance with broad coverage of medical expenses such as Totaltravel Premium, which reaches 1.000.000€.
Important: Not all vaccinations are suitable for travel.
For travel to the following countries or territories, you must comply with paragraph 2: Andorra, Switzerland, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Vatican City.
At least 30 days after vaccination against rabies (in the case of primary vaccination) a blood sample should be taken from the animal to verify that the post-vaccination antibody level is sufficient, i.e. equal to or higher than 0.5 IU/ml.
In case the animal moves from a country of the European Union to a third country and then returns, this period of three months will not apply, if the evaluation is carried out with a favorable result before the animal leaves the territory of the European Union. This information will be included in the animal’s passport.

For details on Cuba sanctions regulations, including fact sheets on recent changes and information on how to apply for an OFAC license, please visit this Treasury Department webpage on Cuba sanctions. The State Department also provides information on Cuba sanctions and travel restrictions on its Cuba sanctions website.
Please note that neither the U.S. Embassy in Havana nor the Department of State in Washington DC process visa applications to visit Cuba. To apply for a Cuban visa or for other questions about Cuban consular services, contact the Cuban Embassy in Washington DC:
All Cuban-U.S. dual citizens should be aware that the Cuban government treats U.S. citizens born in Cuba as Cubans and therefore they may be subject to a number of limitations and obligations. The Cuban government requires that Cuban-U.S. dual citizens who departed Cuba on or after January 1, 1971, must enter and depart Cuba with a Cuban passport. Using a Cuban passport for this purpose does not jeopardize U.S. citizenship; however, these individuals must use their U.S. passports to enter and exit the United States. Those Cuban-American citizens, who left Cuba before January 1, 1971, may travel to Cuba with their U.S. passport but must apply for an HE-11 visa at the Cuban Embassy. Cuban authorities do not always notify the U.S. Embassy of the detention of dual nationals and may deny them access to U.S. consular officials.
