Applicants should contact the consular office that corresponds to the applicant’s domicile by territorial circumscription. The consular office will accept the requests in the way they have foreseen for the visa management.
Once the form is completed, a certificate called “Certificate for Completion of Registration to the ERFS system” will be obtained. Note: If you are a foreigner who requires a visa to enter Mexico, you must present it along with the documentation requested by the Mexican immigration authority at the point of entry into the country.
Regarding the items that visitors may bring into Mexico, it is suggested to visit the following informative sections of the Tax Administration Service (SAT), since it is the competent authority related to the procedures that must be carried out by persons traveling to Mexico:
According to the SAT website you must declare amounts in cash, in documents receivable or a combination of both that added together exceed 10,000.00 (ten thousand U.S. dollars) or its equivalent in local currency or other currencies.

Use the booking form to check availability and make your reservation. We will coordinate the booking and send you a confirmation email. You can pay in advance or directly at the clinic.
On the day of your appointment, visit the clinic at least 5 minutes before. The receptionist will make a copy of your passport, take your temperature and explain the flow of the PCR test. In total, the test will take approximately 10 minutes.
If it is negative, you will receive a travel certificate at our reservation center between 15:00 and 21:00 the following day, or between 19:00 and 21:00 if you choose the same day option. Please bring your passport. * If it is positive, we will call you directly and explain the procedure to follow (no negative certificate will be issued).
The whole process takes about 10 minutes (take the temperature, interview with the doctor, take the sample, pay). Do not eat or drink one hour before the test. You can receive the results of the test from 15h the next day.
More countries restrict entry to mexican nationals
Likewise, many cities apply curfews or access restrictions to some monuments for security reasons. Some countries do not allow entry to restaurants and entertainment venues unless an official vaccination certificate or negative PCR test is presented via QR code. Please consult for more details.
We recommend that you take out health insurance for the entire duration of your stay. Please note that in some countries, it is mandatory for entry into the destination.
The list of countries or areas at risk, as well as the criteria for inclusion in it, is published on the website of the Ministry of Health and on the SpTH website. As a general rule, the lists will be reviewed every seven days.
VERY IMPORTANT: all diagnostic tests for travel abroad must be at least in English, and show: name and surname of the holder, date of sample collection, type of test performed, authorized health center performing the test, negative test result and issuing country.
