Entry requirements for India 2022
Unlike other visas such as the Indian tourist visa, Indian business visa and Indian medical visa, an emergency visa to India or Indian emergency eTA application requires much less preparation time. If you need to travel to India for tourism, to see a friend or to attend a complicated relationship, you would not be eligible for an Indian crisis visa as such situations are not considered emergency situations. As a result, you will need to apply for a variety of visas. One of the features of the Indian critical or emergency e-visa application is that it is processed even on weekends for people who need to go to India for emergency or unforeseen circumstances.
You need India eVisa (eVisa India or Indian Visa online) to witness the amazing sights and experiences as a foreign tourist in India. Alternatively, you could be visiting India on an Indian eCommerce Visa and want to do some recreation and sightseeing in North India and the foothills of the Himalayas. The Indian Immigration Authority encourages visitors to India to apply for Indian Visa online (Indian eVisa) instead of visiting the Indian Consulate or Embassy.
