CX888 and CX865/CX889 are not pre-approved flights by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), as they operate outside the operating hours of the U.S. pre-approval processing facility.
Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is mandatory for visa-exempt foreign nationals traveling to or through Canada by air. All international travel requires the presentation of a passport. If you are traveling to another country, you will need a passport to board the international flight and enter the country. Passport cards will not be accepted as identification for international air travel.
