The Indian visa for US citizens / passport holders has been available online CLI form since 2014 from the Indian Government. The government of India has done all India e-Visa Application for India vetting process, submission of application, payment, uploading of documentation, scanned copies of passport and facial photograph, payment by credit/debit card and receipt of Indian e-Visa mailing to the application by email.
