The United Kingdom has a two-tier system for international travel: a “red list” of countries and territories and a “rest of the world” list. If you have to follow the “red list” rules, you must do so whether you are fully vaccinated or not.
In order for you to enjoy your stay as much as possible, we recommend that you organize your next trip ahead of time and check all the important services and places. In order to ensure that we all do our bit to travel responsibly and take care of the environment, we have prepared some general points to help you organize your trip when you are allowed to travel again:
Accident and Emergency (A&E) departments in UK hospitals deal with serious emergencies. If you need help or medical attention in a non-life-threatening situation, you can call 111 to access the NHS 111 service.
Foreign travelers may have to pay for hospital care. We strongly recommend that you make sure you have an adequate insurance policy before traveling. There will be no charge for coronavirus testing and treatment.

Defense cooperation is the most prominent element of bilateral relations. The defense budgets of both countries account for half of the European Union’s defense budgets. The changes announced today place El Salvador with many other countries that require visas and with which the UK has strong and friendly relations. Visas provide access to the UK, while helping to protect its borders.
A UK Temporary Visa Application Center will operate regularly in El Salvador, where travelers will be able to submit their passport and provide their biometric data. The first session of this center is scheduled to operate on May 19 and 20, with the aim of allowing applicants to receive their visas before the end of the June 8 transition period, with a future session of the Visa Application Center planned for early June.

U.S. restrictions for variant return
If you are a citizen of the EU, EEA or Switzerland, you can still travel to the UK on vacation or for short stays without needing a visa. In order to enter the UK, you will only need a valid passport, which will need to be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
Based on the new points-based system, if you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, you can continue to travel to the UK on vacation or for short stays without needing a visa and in most cases you can stay for up to a maximum of 6 months.
If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss national and the reason for your trip is to work or study in the UK, you need to make sure you are eligible, as you may need to apply for a visa online before entering the UK. More information about visiting the UK if you are a citizen of the EU, EEA or Switzerland.
As part of this phased program until 2025, the Government is introducing an electronic system by the end of 2024 for travel authorization as one of the measures taken to ensure that, before traveling, those coming to the UK have permission to do so.
