The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) allows citizens of certain countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business purposes for a period of less than 90 days without obtaining a visa. However, there are some restrictions. Not all countries participate in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
All citizens of visa waiver countries planning to travel to the United States temporarily for business or pleasure under the Visa Waiver Program will need to receive an electronic travel authorization before boarding a plane or cruise ship bound for the United States.
