If you like sailing and want to have the experience of a vacation on the water, chartering a private boat can be a good option, especially if you are traveling with a large group of people, as this is a premium service. Goolets is an agency specialized in chartering private boats and luxury yachts in Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Indonesia, Italy, Turkey, Montenegro and the Caribbean. A consultant helps you put together your itinerary and find a boat to suit your vacation. There are boats up to 40 meters in length and with up to 20 cabins, with crew on board and water activities included.

– The extra services you hire (already in itself, the passage includes the cabin, all meals and some drinks, but there are different bracelets that are paid per day and include a wider range of drinks).

Approximate prices: in 2017 we spoke to passengers who told us they paid $500 + gratuities (total per person for the entire trip) for a windowless stateroom. Now, from what I see on the web, prices start at €750/person for an outside stateroom with window (still cheaper than a plane ticket anyway).

Due to a series of problems with the ship, they were forced to return twice for repairs shortly after setting sail. In a third attempt, they finally left Plymouth on September 6 and arrived on November 11.

The initial route was to be made in two ships: the Mayflower together with the Speedwell. The first voyage departed from Southampton, England, on August 5, 1620, but the Speedwell suffered a leak and had to be repaired in Dartmouth. On a second attempt, the ship reached open sea in the Atlantic Ocean, but once again was forced to return. After some reorganization, the final voyage was made alone on the Mayflower.

Before disembarking, the Pilgrims wrote and signed the Mayflower Compact. They had made a mistake in reaching the territory of Virginia (a name that referred to Elizabeth I), where they had a land grant, granted by someone without any legitimacy who awarded himself such improper jurisdiction. On April 5, 1621, the Mayflower sailed from the colony of Plymouth (Massachusetts), returning to the United Kingdom on May 6, 1621.

Europe from argentina by ship to europe

The answer is yes. In May 2017 I had the opportunity to travel on a transatlantic cruise from Cartagena de Indias, Colombia to Lisbon, Portugal, it is a repositioning cruise. It was over two weeks on board, several stops along the way and a completely different experience than traveling by plane. And yes, it is worth less than a plane ticket.

These ships are called repositioning cruises, positioning, or repos, as they are known in the jargon. For a long time most companies did not market these ships, until slowly the trend began to reverse.

This is one of the most frequently asked questions and one of the most difficult to answer because it will all depend on when you read this post. The route I took in May 2017 started from Puerto Limon in Costa Rica. It stopped in Cartagena, Saint Marteen, Antigua, Madeira and finally arrived in Lisbon.

It all depends on the itinerary you choose, and the port where you board. Generally, an average of 12 days is calculated. We sailed 14 days and made three stops between the port of origin and the final destination. In total there were 7 consecutive days of seeing nothing but water.
