Florida is one of the most visited places in the United States of America, and as the fourth most populous of the 50 United States, it benefits from millions of tourists every year. The majority of Florida is a peninsula, separating the Atlantic Ocean, the Florida Straits and the Gulf of Mexico, and it’s the only state that boarders both the ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. With much of the state at sea level, most of the land is made up of sedimentary soil. Furthermore, the southern parts of the state offer a tropical climate, compared to the north where the climate is sub-tropical. miami_at_night_1
