However, if you are going to ‘cross the pond’ you should know that to visit the United States you will need certain procedures and documentation, whatever the reason for your trip.

Resolving these questions is essential if you plan to travel to the U.S., among other things, because if you do not do so you may not comply with some of the requirements for travel and, consequently, you may be surprised to find yourself stranded on the ground.

Passengers traveling to the United States, but who are visa exempt, need to apply for a travel authorization.
