3- Easter Island, Chile (via David Berkowitz): Some 3,600 kilometers away from mainland Chile, Easter Island is very popular worldwide because of the moais, huge stone statues scattered across the island. Apart from that, visitors can enjoy a sunny day on its beaches and go surfing, diving or snorkeling.

5- Uyuni Salt Flat, Bolivia (via Lime884): The impressive Salar de Uyuni, located some 3,656 meters above sea level, is the largest of its kind in the world and serves as inspiration for photographers looking for the perfect occasion to capture fantasy photos. It is often visited as part of a 3 to 4 day tour.

6- Angel Falls, Venezuela (via ENT108): Located within the Camaima National Park, this wonder of nature has a height of 979 meters, making it the highest waterfall on the planet. Even more interesting is its distant location and difficult access (it can only be reached by small plane and then by canoe), making Angel Falls an attraction not so frequented by people.
