Once the applicant has emailed this information to HavanaConsularInfo@state.gov, the Embassy will determine whether we can schedule an emergency appointment for a visa interview.    At the interview, the applicant must demonstrate that he or she is eligible to receive a visa under U.S. immigration law. Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee an appointment, and confirmation of an interview appointment does not guarantee visa approval.

Because the range of our services is limited, only scheduled visa applicants (whose names appear on the daily interview listings), those in possession of an embassy-issued pass, and U.S. citizens who need to be seen by the Citizen Services Unit are authorized access to the U.S. Embassy.

Lost or Stolen VisasIf your U.S. visa has been lost or stolen, you should immediately notify the U.S. Embassy in Havana by following the steps below:

According to the legislation of the Russian Federation foreign tourists traveling on cruise ships may arrive and stay in Russia without a visa for a period of 72 hours as part of an organized tour group.  A visa is required for St. Petersburg if they want to visit the city independently and not as part of an organized tour group.

Up to 90 days for tourists. The original tourist documentation or invitation must be presented to the Russian immigration authorities. The visa exemption regime does not apply for holders of diplomatic and service passports.

Citizens of Serbia with biometric passports obtained after April 09, 2008 may stay in Russia for up to 30 days. Holders of diplomatic or official passports without accreditation in Russia can stay up to 90 days. Nationals of Serbia with temporary and permanent residence permits may stay without time limits. In all other cases a visa is required. The visa-free regime does not apply to holders of Yugoslav passports.

Not everyone agrees. Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz says that while it is important to sanction members of President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle, Europeans must “also understand that there are many people fleeing Russia because they do not agree with the Russian regime.”

European leaders are unlikely to reach full agreement on this issue. Although the EU has largely held together since the start of the war and has united to impose serious economic sanctions on Russia, there is a geographic reality that complicates any consensus among 27 countries with very different economic and political priorities.

The western and southern EU countries, which are somewhat shielded from Kremlin aggression because of the great distance, are quick to remind the hawks that Russia is a very large part of the wider region of Europe.

Therefore, it is not only extremely difficult, but probably not particularly productive, to simply ignore Russia. Once the war is over, European economies will want to re-establish ties with Russia. This is not only beneficial to those countries, but could also prove valuable in a post-conflict propaganda war to convince average Russians of the benefits of European values.

Which countries do not require a visa to enter

The applicant must enter the personal information, in Latin characters, as it appears in his/her foreign passport.  The information provided by the applicant must be correct and true; otherwise, the electronic authorization will be denied and the applicant will not be able to enter Mexico.

a) Authorized application: A confirmation is issued with which the person may travel to Mexico. Once authorized, the electronic visa must be printed and all data must be verified to be correct. The application is valid for 30 days to travel and enter the country.

The printout of the authorized application must be presented together with the valid foreign passport and the airline ticket at the airline counter when checking in for the flight. The airline will verify the information and, if it is correct, boarding will be allowed.

Upon arrival at the point of entry into Mexico, you must show the valid foreign passport, the electronic authorization and the immigration form duly completed, which can be obtained from the airline or at the point of entry into the country.
