Beginning December 1, 2021, dogs vaccinated in the United States by a U.S. licensed veterinarian.May re-enter the United States from a high-risk country without a CDC dog import permit, if the dog meets the following requirements.
For dogs vaccinated outside the U.S., you must apply for a CDC dog import permit , by emailing CDCanimalimports@cdc.gov at least 30 business days (6 weeks) prior to intended travel who reserve the right to approve or deny the introduction of pets. If the dog was vaccinated outside the U.S. it must have a rabies serological titer issued by an approved laboratory. Serological titers must be obtained in accordance with the recommendations of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).
