Travel From Argentina To Spain: New Requirements 2021

Controls were established at land ports and at the airport to prevent the coronavirus from entering the country, as there is a lack of capacity to perform adequate medical tests or treatment. So far, samples are sent to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) in South Africa.

Flights to and from Europe, Reunion Island and Mayotte are suspended. There have been no reported cases of carriers of the virus in question, but Malagasy nationals stranded in Seychelles, in India and on Reunion Island, under medical supervision until they comply with the quarantine dictated by WHO, also for fear of not having the necessary capacities to contain it once it enters the island. They must return to the island by March 19 at the latest.

A 14-day quarantine is applied to passengers from China, Italy, South Korea, Iran, Germany and France. Stringent border controls, particularly at crossings with South Africa, are in place to keep Mozambique free of the virus.

Is it possible to travel in February 2021?

It is possible to enter Germany as a tourist without compulsory quarantine as long as a negative result of a test performed at least 48 hours prior to entering the country is demonstrated by a medical certificate. Alternatively, the German country offers the possibility of performing this test at the airport of arrival free of charge, although we must remain in isolation until the test is completed.

During the quarantine, it is allowed to go for a walk or drive as long as the safety distance of 2 meters is maintained and you do not go to tourist spots where there could be large crowds.

Travel to Egypt is once again possible. The country has opened its borders to tourists and since September 1 requires visitors to present a negative PCR test performed within 48 hours prior to arrival in the country.

The security protocol established for travel to Oman now requires the presentation of a negative PCR test issued during the 96 hours prior to travel, as well as proof of accommodation and medical insurance among other things.
